Smart Growth
Idaho is growing at unprecedented levels. It is our responsibility to manage that growth in a manner that will help all of us. That means protecting the rights of the people that have lived here for generations, and giving our new neighbors a fair chance to thrive. We can't stop the growth and we shouldn't want to. We need to remain competitive with the rest of the country and to do that we need to plan and incentivize industry and talent what will make us the best place to live in America for all of us.
Cost of Living
The cost of living has gone up, and Idaho families feel it. I support implementing property tax relief measures, repealing the grocery tax, and investing in sensible public transportation initiatives. We can ease the financial burdens on households and help families keep more of their hard-earned income.
Education
Education is the cornerstone of a thriving society and every child deserves access to high-quality public schooling. Protecting children’s access to books is extremely important. I believe in fully investing in our schools, supporting our educators, and ensuring all students have the resources they need to succeed.
Veteran Advocacy
As a proud veteran, I hold a deep sense of gratitude and respect for our men and women who have sacrificed so much in service to our country. Yet, too often, they return home to face inadequate support and barriers to accessing the care and benefits they deserve. I will continue to be a tireless advocate for our veterans, working to expand access to healthcare, mental health services, job training, and housing assistance. We must honor their service with meaningful support and ensure they can thrive in civilian life.
Healthcare
Access to quality healthcare is a fundamental right, not a privilege. Our current healthcare system leaves too many families struggling to afford necessary medical care, and that's unacceptable. I will fight for accessible, affordable healthcare for all. We can build a healthcare system that prioritizes the well-being of every individual and ensures that no one has to choose between their health and financial stability.
Prison Reform
Idaho currently ranks #4 in the county for incarceration and that number is rising. I will work on reforms that prioritize rehabilitation over punishment, advocate for fair sentencing practices, and work to dismantle systemic inequalities within our criminal justice system.
